Frank is kind of hot! Rather than painting his concrete blocks, I’d cover them with some kind of wood siding–old barn wood, I think. And I’d want to put copper along his rooflines, and let it turn green. And then I’d put some kind of wire trellising (is that a word?) on his walls and plant vines. Flowering, good-smelling vines. But that’s me )

Just wanted to thank you for a very thought provoking post. I’ve been licking my wounds for most of the day after getting skunked at 1:00, moping around ravelry and stumbled over the Madrona group and onto your blog. Your post helped me to rethink what I thought my Madrona experience was supposed to be, and to open myself up to the possibilities of what it could be. I am now enrolled in Viking cables on Sunday, and I’ll be attending the banquet Saturday. Nothing at all what I thought my itinerary would look like, but hey! look at me! I’m going to Madrona, and I’m looking forward to “stretching”.
