Finally – Another Blog Entry!
If anyone has visited here lately, you may have wondered where I was. Well, I’ve just been extremely busy with work, taking on a new job while still trying to do my old one while they find a replacement for me. Needless to say, I’ve been extremely busy!
Rather than make an attempt to catch up, I’ll just continue on from here.
The photo here is of some yarn I spun from some lovely fiber I purchased at a recent fiber event in Seattle. It contains merino wool and silk – the whte part is silk. I puchased about 3/4 of a pound of this fiber, and found it to be prepared in such a way that it was very easy to spin. I’ve got 6 skeins of this yarn. What should I make with it?

I’ve yet to actually make anything from any of my handspun yarn. I’m still very much in the learning and experimental stage so usually don’t have enough of any one yarn to make anything substantial. I’m thinking a vest of some sort might be nice, but your suggestions are welcome!
